What is a Teleclass and . . .
How Does it Work?
If you’ve never participated in a teleclass before, here are a few things that will help you feel comfortable in this fabulous learning environment:
Teleclasses are live, interactive telephone calls – similar to a conference call but MUCH more interesting. They are a fast, fun and interactive way to learn in the comfort of your own home or office with no travel time. If you like, you can learn in your pajamas without combing your hair.
All you need to do is call the number at class time. You’ll receive the phone number in an email when you register.
You do NOT need access to a computer or anything else.
Typically, teleclasses last about 60 minutes (unless otherwise indicated).
Teleclasses may be small (8-12 participants) or very large (100 people or more) depending on the topic. You can just listen or you can fully participate – whichever you’re most comfortable doing.
My teleclasses are highly interactive and focused on taking action – much like a workshop. You’ll have many opportunities to ask questions and make comments.
When you call in, try to use a regular corded or cordless phone. Avoid cell phones, speaker phones or headsets because they are often noisy and create interference.
Because we cannot see each other and can’t see a hand raised for questions, simply say your name and indicate that you’d like to speak: “Hi this is Cheryl. I have a question” or “Hi this is Mary. I have a comment.”
This is one of the easiest, most comfortable ways I know of to get great content. I hope you’ll be a regular in my teleclasses.
