Areas of Coaching Focus

Sometimes my clients wonder what we’ll talk about in our coaching sessions.  The topics are endless.  Even when they’ve come to the call thinking they had nothing to say, they ended the session amazed at our discussion.  Sometimes I just ask, "How did your week go?" and away the discussion goes - fascinating.

If you’re wondering what you might talk about with me, here’s part of an infinite list of topics:

  1. I want to identify or better articulate the goals I have. Something is missing.
  2. I want to live a wellness lifestyle but don’t know how to get started.
  3. I am on a path of self-awareness and I want to move forward more quickly.
  4. I want to learn how to do something: _______________________________
  5. I am in the middle of a big project and I could use a supportive, a creative partner.
  6. I am ready to design my environment to profoundly support, stimulate or inspire me.
  7. I have an idea. I want help in teasing it out and possibly turning it into a revenue stream.
  8. I would like to pursue several personal interests but I cannot seem to find the time.
  9. I want to tweak the design of my time, my life, my day and/or my priorities. It’s time.
  10. I need to make an important decision and want to discuss my best options.
  11. I have a large goal and I want help to develop a strategy to reach that goal easily.
  12. I am seeking feedback on a project I am working on or situation I am in.
  13. I am slacking off; I could use a challenging partner to keep me focused.
  14. I believe in getting perspective from many sources and getting yours would be useful.
  15. I am a lot more creative and productive when I have a creative partner.
  16. I want someone to tell it to me straight; to be forthright with me about my situation.
  17. I would like help with tweaking or improving how I come across–how I communicate.
  18. I am ready to be successful and I would like to design a plan for that to happen.
  19. What I really want is the weekly structure of having a coach; that will get me going.
  20. It’s time to redesign my life so that I can be financially independent sooner.
  21. There is something more for me in life and I’d like help finding out what that is.

Cheryl Miller's 21-Day No Junk Food Challenge should be required reading for every household in America. I've passed it on to all of my clients, friends, and family.

I love the simple, inspiring, and (gasp!) fun way Cheryl presents healthy snacking. You can tell she had a blast writing this program! All 21 daily nuggets are eye-opening, entertaining, and - most importantly - realistic and doable.
